In fact, this is an ordinary tram, whichruns along route No. 18. Only the developers replaced the driver with a computer system with GPS transmitters. This allows the system to provide precise speed control, make stops, open and close doors, sound alarms and apply emergency braking if necessary.
The tram is tested at night so as not to interfereregular public transport. Its route is around the Third of May Alley, from the National Museum stop to the Cichy Kącik station in the central part of the city. The total distance is more than 3 kilometers.
