The flagship camera of the Samsung Galaxy S11 will receive a special sensor for night shooting

We recently showed renders of the new flagship Samsung Galaxy S11+ with an unusual camera design. But it looks like a smartphone

will surprise you not only with the appearance of the camera, but also with its capabilities.

Documentation hints at new featuresat the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Here Samsung has registered a new trademark, Bright Night Sensor.

It looks like this is the fifth sensor for older versions of the Samsung Galaxy S11, which will help improve the quality of photos taken in the dark, as well as videos.

Nowadays, many Samsung smartphones have a night mode, but this is a software feature and not a separate sensor.

The brand description lists the following categories:image sensors for video cameras; image sensor for photographic devices; camera image sensors for smartphones; camera image sensors for tablet computers; light sensors for smartphone cameras; light sensors for tablet computer cameras.

Unfortunately, there is no more information about this sensor.

According to rumors, the main camera of the Galaxy S11 flagshipsin addition to the Bright Night Sensor, it will receive a main 108-megapixel sensor, a telephoto lens, a wide-angle sensor and a sensor for 3D shooting. The devices are also credited with a new Exynos or Qualcomm processor (depending on the region) and an AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
