The S Pen stylus has been a defining feature of the Galaxy Note line since it was introduced in 2011.
Galaxy S21 Ultra and S Pen
The leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra have debunked recent rumors of an integrated S Pen stylus, but that doesn't mean the popular stylus won't be supported on the 2021 flagship.
Reliable tipster Ice Universe announced that nowhe is "100%" confident that Samsung will offer S Pen support on the upcoming Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G when it is unveiled. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will be out in two months.
They say Samsung is not going to includeAC adapter included with Galaxy S21. And it looks like the situation with the S Pen will be similar. The company will likely offer the stylus as a standalone purchase for those interested in it.
In addition, the Korean manufacturer maypresent a specially designed stylus case, which will also be sold separately. After all, without a dedicated slot on the next generation smartphone, losing the stylus will be much easier.
The only thing that remains unclear at this stage is whether the supported S Pen is identical to the one offered in the Galaxy Note 20 lineup, perhaps it will be slightly updated.
What else will the Galaxy S21 Ultra offer?
According to the latest leaks, Samsung has decidedEquip the Galaxy S21 Ultra with a massive 6.9-inch AMOLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The latter will be paired with LTPO technology, which means it will adjust its refresh rate based on what content is being displayed and ultimately save battery power.
Android manufacturers including Samsung are famousby opting for ridiculously thin side panels and thicker chins. With the Galaxy S21 Ultra, this is changing as it is expected to offer so-called "Blade Panels".
Meanwhile, the back will be locatedNext-generation 108MP main camera. The Isocell HM1 sensor is featured on the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra, but with the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the company will make the leap to the Isocell HM3 sensor.
All of this is reportedly combined with massive5,000mAh battery, 45W fast charging support and Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 or next-gen Exynos chipset. At least 256 GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM is also highly likely.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra will be presented atthe next Unpacked event, which will reportedly take place on January 14, 2021. Pre-orders in the United States will start on the same day and the same could happen in Europe.
As for the actual release date, sales of the entire Galaxy S21 lineup appear to start on January 29, 2021. This is by far the earliest launch date for the flagship Galaxy S line in history.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra, like the Galaxy S20 Ultra, willonly available in black and silver. Samsung keeps its more adventurous colorways like pink and purple for its cheaper flagship models.
