According to him, GTA 6 is the most expensive gameproject in history. The publisher has pledged about $500 million for the development of the game and another $100 million for marketing. At the same time, Rockstar hopes that the project will pay off on the first day of sales.
The publisher plans to sell copies of GTA 6 for at least $1 billion. And this may be an achievable goal - sales of the previous GTA 5 in the first day amounted to $800 million.
Rockstar planned to release GTA 6 in 2024, but due to a hack, the project will be delayed by at least a year.
