Xiaomi recently promised to release a Redmi smartphone with a 64-megapixel camera. They didn’t tighten it up

and quickly moved from words to action: it turns out that the production of gadgets is already in full swing, so the announcement of the new product will take place in the near future.

According to rumors, the smartphone will be called Redmi Note 8. And the vice president of Xiaomi and the head of the Redmi brand, Lu Weibing, even showed it live: the video was shot directly on the production line during assembly.

Of course, it was not possible to see the design of the smartphone,but the emphasis was placed on the main feature - the camera. The main camera here consists of four modules, the main one being the same 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. But the retractable front camera is not visible - most likely, it will be hidden in the cutout.

Based on this video, a render of Redmi Note 8 has already been made, and it looks very similar to OnePlus 7 Pro, if you discard the “extra” camera module.
