Sources report that OnePlus is preparing to enter the smartwatch market and has been for a long time
What and when to expect
Most likely, the watch will be called OnePlus Watch. They are credited with a Qualcomm platform (most likely the new 12nm Snapdragon Wear 3300 processor), at least 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash memory.
The smart watch will run under the WearOS operating system.
OnePlus Watch should debut along with the flagships OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro in the second quarter of 2020.
By the way, OnePlus was already setting up for the watch marketa few years ago. The head of the company even showed sketches, but then they decided to close the project. Apparently, having sorted out the smartphones, the manufacturer decided to “unfreeze” old idea. Although there are suggestions that OnePlus will eventually release not a watch, but a fitness tracker.
