The project of the new plant involves the production of 45 GW of electricity in Kazakhstan from solar and wind
The plant in Kazakhstan will have no analogues in the world - it is twice as powerful as the Asian Renewable Energy Hub being built in Australia, and five times more powerful than the Enegix Base One project in Brazil.
For comparison, the largest operatinghydrogen plants - Canadian Air Liquide uses only 20 GW to power electrolysis plants, while Svevind intends to spend 30 GW for these purposes.
Sevind notes that planning, engineering, procurement and financing will take three to five years, and construction and commissioning another five.
They decided to build the plant in Kazakhstan thanks tocomfortable terrain and windy climate. In addition, the country's resource-based economy is one of the most prosperous in Central Asia, so the place is safe enough for the implementation of long-term projects.
