Kuo believes that in the first half of 2020Apple will release the iPhone SE 2 with a 4.7-inch display. After that, the main line of the iPhone, consisting of OLED models, will be released. It will be a 5.4, 6.7 and two 6.1-inch iPhone. Smartphones will be released in the second half of next year.
As for 5G technology, it will be supportedall four major iPhone models. However, the availability of Sub-6G waves will vary by region. Below is a list of all 2020 iPhones with key features.
- 4.7-inch iPhone SE 2: LCD display, one main camera, no 5G.
- 5.4-inch iPhone 12: OLED display, support 5G, dual camera.
- 6.1-inch iPhone 12: OLED display, support 5G, dual camera.
- 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro: OLED display, 5G support, triple camera.
- 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max: OLED display, support 5G, triple camera.
Models with mmWave technology will be sold inUSA, Canada, Japan, Korea and the UK. Apple may abandon Sub-6G functionality for regions without 5G to save money on production.
The iPhone SE 2 will have an iPhone 8 design, a Home button with Touch ID and an A13 processor, as well as 3 GB of RAM. The main camera of the iPhone SE 2 will be only one.
