Detailed specifications of the Moto G8 Slylus have leaked online: 6.39" IPS screen, Snapdragon 665 chip, NFC, 48 MP camera and stylus tracking function

Our colleagues from XDA-Developers have published detailed specifications of the new Motorola smartphone - Moto G8 Slylus.

What did they say?

As expected earlier, the device will be verysimilar to Moto G8 Power. The device will be equipped with a 6.39-inch IPS FHD+ display with a cutout in the left corner for a 25 MP (f/2.0) front camera. The smartphone will also receive a Snapdragon 665 chip, at least 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM, a 4000 mAh battery with 10 W charging, Android 10 out of the box, NFC support in some regions and a slot for two nano-SIMs.

A scanner will be placed on the back of the devicefingerprints and a camera with three modules. The main Samsung sensor is 48 MP with f/1.7 aperture. It will be complemented by a 16-megapixel 16-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 and a 117° field of view, as well as a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.2.

The main feature of the new product will be the stylus,which will be installed on the bottom edge of the device next to the speaker, USB-C port and headphone jack. With it you can draw, add watermarks to documents, and also quickly open the Moto Note application. According to the source, Motorola will also allow users to track the location of the stylus through a special program. It will record the time it was last used and also send a notification if it has not been returned.

When to expect

There is no exact date for the announcement of the device, but most likely, the novelty will be presented together with other Moto G8 smartphones and the flagship Motorola Edge + on February 23 at MWC 2020.
