Data about a fresh Sony patent has appeared online, inwithin which the company wants to secure the right to a controller that can provide the user with access to the functions of the DualShock 5 and PlayStation 5 thanks to the microphone built into the gamepad. It's likely that the new patent is directly related to the earlier document - in September, Sony also filed a patent application that describes the device's proprietary voice assistant called PlayStation Assistant.
Interestingly, the new declassified documentalso describes an interesting recoil system that, through vibration, will inform players of the processing status of their voice input. Recall that a little earlier on the network there was information that the new DualShock 5 will also be compatible with the PlayStation 4.
