The new generation of the cheapest iPhone will not receive a new design

After the release of the iPhone SE (2020), rumors began to circulate on the network that the next device in the lineup would be the iPhone SE Plus, which

outwardly, it will very much resemble the iPhone XR. The difference from this model should have been in the price. But, apparently, Apple has slightly different plans for the device.

So, according to authoritative analyst Ming-ChiKuo, Apple has no plans to update the iPhone SE in 2021. The publication MyDrivers reports that such a decision may be associated with the extremely successful sales of the original model.

According to Kuo, the third generation of the line will remainsimilar to the second, that is, it will receive a 4.7-inch display and iPhone 8 design. Instead of external changes, the company will add internal ones: it will update the chip, and also add support for 5G mobile networks.
