Some specifications of Huawei's new mid-budget processor have appeared online.
What is known
We are talking about SoC Kirin 820 (successor to Kirin 810).Journalists from the Chinese publication ITHome obtained his test results on Geekbench. According to the leak, it scores 3490 points in the single-core test, and 11200 in the multi-core test. For comparison, this is more than the flagship Kirin 980 processor, which is installed in the Huawei P30 and Huawei Mate 20 smartphones. The new SoC also beats last year’s chip in the single-core test Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.

If we talk about specifications, then Kirin 820will be equipped with a built-in 5G modem. The chip will be built using a 7-nanometer process technology and will be equipped with four Cortex-A76 and four Cortex-A55 cores. It is also credited with the Mali-G77 graphics accelerator and updated NPU and ISP.
When to expect
Kirin 820 will be presented next week. The first to receive the smartphone is the Honor 30S.
