Russia got rid of 100 nuclear warheads in almost six months

The U.S. Department of State has published data on

reduction of nuclear arsenals in Russia and the United States. From the document it became known how many nuclear warheads Russia got rid of in almost six months.

It is reported that since September last year Moscowreduced the number of nuclear warheads by 100. During this time, Washington got rid of only three warheads. Thus, Russia has reduced its arsenal by more than 30 times compared to the United States.

So, as of March 1, Russia hasdeployed 485 nuclear weapons carriers - intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs), heavy bombers (TB), ballistic missiles on submarines (SLBMs), and the United States - 655. 1326 warheads are located on these carriers near Moscow and 1373 on Washington.
