First assessments of The Outer Worlds: the best successor to New Vegas and Obsidian's new masterpiece

The Outer Worlds will only please gamers on October 25, but the gaming press has already tried out Obsidian's new creation

and shared the first assessments.

After 44 critic reviews, The Outer Worlds (PS4) Metacritic rating is 86. Obsidian even managed to surpass its previous creation, Fallout: New Vegas.

PlayStation LifeStyle journalist praised The OuterWorlds scores 100 for its “stunning visuals and gripping storytelling,” as well as variety. At the same time, the author of GamingTrend gave the project 65 points, listing the characters and plot as pros, while the minuses included combat, variety, and a “toothless story.”

“The developers have packed in so many great RPG elements that fans will be captivated from start to finish,” GameRant, 90 points.
