The developers have created the Breathe project, which allows you to literally see your breath in virtual reality.
The project was shown at the Sundance festival.Augmented reality in Breathe visualizes human breathing, that is, it shows animated carbon dioxide in the form of glowing particles. The viewer can interact with these particles.
From a technical point of view, Breathe consists ofMagic Leap AR headsets and breath detection sensors. The authors of the project claim that this is the first time a similar sensor has been connected to Magic Leap. They also explained that they want to try to establish a different type of human relationship with nature, to comprehend how it is built into the planetary system. Therefore, it became important for the authors to show the breath firsthand.
