G.Skill and Asus have teamed up to achieve a new world record in DDR5 overclocking, resulting in
The result was achieved using the memory G.Skill Trident Z5 DDR5. It was used in combination with an Asus ROG Maximus Z690 Apex motherboard and an Intel Core i9-12900K processor. The result broke the previous record DDR5-8704, which was set in early November last year.
The result was obtained using coolingliquid nitrogen, which is not very suitable for ordinary life. However, PC Gamer recalled that another overclocker reached almost DDR5-8000 with Teamgroup memory and an Asrock Z690 Aqua OC motherboard using only air cooling.
