The release date for The Witcher 3 for PS5 and Xbox Series with improved graphics has been revealed

For a long time, the transfer of the third Witcher to a more modern track was carried out by the Russian studio Saber

But due to the political situation, CDPR decided to take the development away from them, which instantly affected the timing of the release of the version for current consoles.

For a while, it was not clear when exactly the game would be released - it was originally planned that this would happen in the second quarter of 2022.

Now representatives of the studio, in honor of the 7th anniversaryproject, revealed some cards. For example, it became known that an improved version of the game will be released in the fourth quarter of this year on computers, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

It is reported that among the improvements that players will see will be more advanced graphics, support for ray tracing, as well as faster downloads.

Separately, it should be noted that the update will be free for owners of the original game.
