The remake of Silent Hill 2 is almost ready for release. The developers expect the game to sell 10 million copies.

The general director of the Bloober Team studio, Piotr Babieno, gave a long interview to the Bankier portal, in which

shared his thoughts about the future of his company and short-term plans.

What is known

According to Petr Babeno, the development of the Silent remakeHill 2 is almost complete. He has not yet announced the exact release date of the game, as it largely depends on the Japanese partners of the Bloober Team from Konami.

The developers expect sales of the updatedversions of Silent Hill 2 would surpass previous games to reach 10 million copies, while Bloober Team horror games rarely sold more than 2 million copies.

It is not entirely clear why such optimism is justifiedPoles, because the Silent Hill franchise as a whole is not so popular, but if the game turns out to be of such high quality that it will arouse huge public interest &#8211; Babeno's forecast may come true.

The Silent Hill 2 remake will only be available on PC and PlayStation 5.
