Tank units participate in themcombined arms army of the Western Military District (WMD). During one of the tactical episodes, the military simulated a battle with a tank armada of a mock enemy. As part of the exercise, artillery units inflicted fire on armored vehicles and were able to stop the advance of enemy forces deeper into the area.
To defend the populated area, T-72BA tanks, Msta-B howitzers, and BMP-2 crews were used. The military hit targets of a mock enemy at a distance of up to 1,200 meters.
