calls with advertisements. As a preventive measure, you should refuse to enter your personal number on unverified sites.

You can restrict constant auto redials byblocking all incoming calls from unknown numbers. In Apple smartphones, this can be done by going to “Settings”, clicking on the “Phone” column and activating the “Mute unknown” function. On Android smartphones, this is done by activating the Do Not Disturb mode and blocking calls from unknown numbers. However, the specialist noted that this solution to the problem is controversial.

“What you definitely shouldn’t do is communicate withthose who call you with an advertising offer. Once you spend a few minutes on an unnecessary conversation, you sign up for more and more such calls every day. Only completely ignoring such calls will help reduce the activity of spammers,” Zakarian said.
