Executive Producer Joe Neath explained that bringing the captaincy into action requires a lot of behind the scenes work:
“This update includes a wide range ofnew statistics to track. It required complex interactions between our game, the UI, and the various service teams to bring it all to life.”

There was a risk of releasing a product that was not of the quality that the community deserved. In order not to put pressure on specialists and calmly finish the update, the team decided to postpone the start of the new season.
