Information and analytical agency Content Review shared the results of a study of Russian tariffs
As the study showed, the average costThe minimum package tariff for mobile communications increased by 6% compared to December 2018. In monetary terms, the growth amounted to 15 rubles (from 255 to 270 rubles).
Thus, the country’s accessibility indexfor the year increased from 5.9 to 6.4. This means that the Russians began to spend a slightly larger percentage of their monthly income on mobile services. This is largely due to a slowdown in income growth. In addition, operators regularly carry out tariff adjustments in the direction of their increase.
Analysts studied the tariffs of eight operators in all regions of Russia. They believe growth will continue in 2020.
Experts also named the regions with the most affordable mobile communications, taking into account the average wage and cost of tariffs:
- Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug
- Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug
- Sakhalin Oblast
- Moscow city
- Magadan Region
