Turkish Defense Industry Directorate Ismail Demir. With the help of ŞAHİN, Turkish soldiers will be able to destroy small unmanned aerial vehicles (mini/macro UAVs).

According to Demir, ŞAHİN can be used forprotection of critical facilities, border security and air defense. The installation is based on a towable trailer. It has a modular design and is a 40-mm grenade launcher with programmable ammunition from the Turkish company ASELSAN. The installation can automatically track a target and is guided using radar. The operating range of ŞAHİN is 700 meters.
