In essence, Alpagut is an intelligent kamikaze drone. It can be launched from Aksungur, SIHA, Bayraktar Akinci and Bayraktar TB2 (or TB3) UAVs.
Ammunition is attached under the wing in place of the rocket.After launch, it spreads its wings and heads towards the target. The drone is designed to destroy ground and sea radar equipment, communications equipment, electronic warfare equipment, light armored vehicles, ammunition depots, strong points and enemy manpower.
The maximum launch range of the Alpagut is60 km. Loitering ammunition carries a warhead weighing up to 11 kg and can move at an altitude of up to 3.5 km. Having found the target, it can follow it and fly in a circle at an altitude of 300-1500 meters. The maximum flight time is about 60 minutes.
