The Ukrainian Air Force repelled two Shahed-136 attacks in 10 hours - six kamikaze drones were destroyed

What is known

According to the command of the Air Force of the ArmedForces of Ukraine, in 10 hours, anti-aircraft missile units destroyed six Shahed-136 suicide drones. The Russian army has renamed the drones "Geran-2". Perhaps this is how they want to hide the origin of the UAV. In the Ukrainian information space, they are called "mopeds" because of the characteristic sound of the engine.

On September 26, at approximately 22:00 (EET), anti-aircraft gunners of the Yug Air Command shot down three loitering ammunition in the Odessa region. Also, one UAV was destroyed at the beginning of the last day.

Three more kamikaze drones (out of three) wereliquidated by the air defense of the Naval Forces in the Nikolaev region on September 27 at about 8:00. Thus, in 36 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down seven "mopeds". Six of them - in the last 10 hours.
