Less than a month has passed since the announcement of the Honor X40, when the company began teasing its improved version – the Honor X40 GT.
We first learned about it just the other day, andthe posters hint at length at some sort of performance boost. Apparently, we are talking about the same transition from the budget Snapdragon 695 chip to last year’s flagship Snapdragon 888, mentioned in rumors. True, knowing the tendency of this chipset to overheat and throttling, we can only hope for a high-quality implementation of the cooling system, which will be able to remove the produced “iron” warm. Other rumors point to a move to a 144Hz IPS screen and a charging boost from 40W to 66W. We’ll find out how it actually turns out in the very near future: the company has not yet announced the announcement date for the Honor X40 GT.
