The US decided to postpone the imposition of sanctions against Huawei

If anyone forgot, in mid-May the US government blacklisted Huawei, which

implies a ban to American partnerssell parts and accessories to the Chinese. But they did not immediately introduce the ban and provided the companies with a 90-day grace period. And it expires this Monday, August 19th.

What now

But the “doomsday” for Huawei seems to be delayed. Once again.

Reuters news sources report thatThe US Department of Commerce intends to extend the grace period and allow US companies to work with Huawei for another 90 days. True, until Monday they can change their mind again.

The fact is that this weekend the US presidentDonald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping will discuss the issue of Huawei in the framework of the planned telephone calls. Perhaps they will agree on something, because the American authorities no longer hide that Huawei has become an instrument of pressure on the Chinese government.

So far, neither Huawei nor the Chinese Foreign Ministry have commented on this information.
