The US will renew sanctions against ZTE even after the company has fulfilled all the requirements of the Americans

Despite preliminary agreements and ZTE's compliance with all requirements of the Trade Committee and

US Treasury Department, new sanctions will be imposed on the vendor in addition to those that have lasted since the presidency of Donald Trump. Discuss

But this time for ZTE, the situation is not easydifficult, but deplorable. Under a new decree from the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), a program has been launched, according to which, ZTE equipment will be dismantled in all regions of the United States, due to its recognition as a threat to the national security of the country.

All companies that have used the equipmentZTE, subsidies will be paid - both a financial "pillow" for the transition to new equipment, and a coercive measure. The recipients of the subsidy are small telecom operators, mainly from rural areas of the United States, for which the announced innovations are very sensitive.

Under the terms of the sanctions, which will be applied to American companies that have not complied with the requirements of the authorities, it is necessary not only to dismantle, but also to dispose of all ZTE equipment.

Some experts have already suggested that communication problems may begin in the United States due to the crisis of components and the supply of new equipment to replace the Chinese.

Recall that the first sanctions were imposed on ZTEPresident Donald Trump in 2017 - on charges of violating a trade embargo. Then, American companies were banned from selling ZTE components for the production of smartphones and other gadgets for seven years. The reason is the supply of ZTE devices with American parts to Iran and the DPRK, bypassing US sanctions. ZTE was also ordered to pay a $ 1 billion fine and radically change the composition of the board of directors.

In subsequent years, US sanctionsrepeated with different amounts of fines and essentially identical requirements, the fulfillment of which did not lead to anything. Apparently, the impending sanctions may be the last in the presence of ZTE in the US market.
