On June 23, a Google Pixel 4 user reported that his phone had received an update to Android 13, version TP1A.220603.002.A1.
According to the user, he did not participate inbeta testing of the new operating system. When the smartphone sent a notification about the update, the owner did not even notice that it was Android 13. He downloaded and installed the update before realizing it.
After that, Google Pay stopped working on the smartphone. Even restoring to factory settings did not help.
Journalists suggested that this build was intended for internal Android testing by 13 Google employees.
