The specialist noted that global disasters are notwaiting, but the climate is getting tougher. The temperature will change both upwards and downwards, existing natural disasters like fires in the USA, Spain, Italy, Russia-Siberia will be aggravated.
For example, in some areas the temperature rises by two degrees annually. But there are also unexpected frosts, for example, in Europe or Peru - up to minus 15-20 degrees.
At the same time, Russia, due to its geography, is protected from the spontaneous formation of deserts, if we talk about warming. And in general, our country is well prepared for climate change.
"Some new global natural disasters wewe do not expect, but the existing ones are being tightened. I'm talking about the annual fires in California, in the south of Europe - Spain, Italy, and also in Siberia, in southern Africa. In our opinion, it is already impossible to correct the situation, it will only get worse. In turn, people themselves are often to blame for floods when forests are cut down: tree roots no longer retain excess moisture, ”the expert noted.
