The Witcher in AR: CD Projekt Red opens early access to The Witcher: Monster Slayer on Android

Studio CD Projekt has announced that The Witcher: Monster Slayer with augmented reality will be released on Android this summer.

IPhone owners can already download the game from the App Store.

What is known

The game is somewhat similar to Pokemon Go, which wasvery popular a few years ago. It seems that the Witcher developers decided to repeat the success of Niantic and released their AR project. Players will have to track, study, and kill various creatures they find while walking around the city. After a successful hunt, you can keep the heads of the monsters as trophies, just like Geralt did in all the games.

The application contains story quests from the mainseries, although the events take place long before the stories in the trilogy. In order to defeat higher-level monsters, players will have to develop their character, as well as stock up on potions and oils, which they can make themselves or buy from a merchant.

Owners of Android smartphones can apply now, and tomorrow CD Projekt Red will give a limited number of players access to an early version on Google Play.
