The Zvezda compartment was closed on the ISS with an air leak

Cosmonaut Pyotr Dubrov confirmed to specialists from the Moscow Mission Control Center that the hatch in

the intermediate chamber is closed.

During this time, there will be dry soup in the locked room, and a video camera will be installed to fix the areas where these leak indicators accumulate.

The intermediate chamber of the module will be isolated until the next Progress MS-17 cargo vehicle arrives at the station, the launch of which is scheduled for June 30.

For the first time, an insignificant air leak on the ISS was recorded in September 2019, and a year later the cosmonauts discovered two cracks in the intermediate chamber of the Zvezda module.
