There was a trailer for a film about the construction of a megacircle around the Earth

The creator of the recently viral video Sky Cruise Hashem Al-Ghaili is back with an artistic

science fiction film called "Orbital". A new film about the construction of a massive ring around the Earth will be published in 2023.

Like most short videosBerlin biotechnologist about scientific discoveries that have racked up billions of views online, part of the new film was directed by Hashem Al-Ghaili himself. The content creator emphasizes that 21st century digital content creators can use many available tools to “make a movie themselves.”

Al-Ghaili does more than 90% of the work on the film himselfand involves friends in the script review process. After shooting on location, which takes several days, he spends the remaining time alone, working on impressive visual effects. He said he learned how to create them mostly from free online courses.

Feedback about visual effects first The trailers were overwhelmingly positive—more than 1.2 million viewers watched them on YouTube, and commentators compared them to top-notch studio sci-fi films.

Previously, the author of the film published a 360-degreea model of the orbital ring, which he independently created and shared with 33 million subscribers on social networks. After it received more than 100,000 likes, the author was inspired and created the feature film “Orbital” on this topic.

At the moment, the orbital rings representare hypothetical structures surrounding the planet. In reality, building them would require a staggering allocation of materials, exorbitant costs, and an incredibly long time.

In the future, such massive rings couldrotate against the force of gravity. The development would be useful in launching spacecraft and transporting materials from Earth to space. In the film by Hashem Al-Ghaili, a conflict arises between the population of the Earth and the inhabitants of the huge rings.
