There will be no Gen 1 errors! Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy makes TSMC

This year, Samsung abandoned Exynos when working on the flagship Galaxy S23. Instead, the Koreans proposed

a special version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon flagship8 Gen 2, which raised some concerns that the history of Gen 1 would repeat itself – At that time, the chipset was produced by Samsung on its own 4nm process technology, which had problems with temperature conditions. But 9to5google is in a hurry to reassure fans of the brand – Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, like the standard version, is made by TSMC. This information was confirmed to the publication by Qualcomm representatives. There are no significant problems with Gen 2 yet.

Note, a custom version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2stands out for its increased CPU and GPU frequencies, and Samsung itself positions it as the most powerful and energy-efficient solution in its class. Also, for special hardware, the heat dissipation system of all three models has been improved, so the makings are very good. All that remains is to see what is there in real scenarios. The worldwide release of the Galaxy S23 is scheduled for February 17, and the Russian – February 20th. The price starts from 75,000 rubles.
