What is the problem
Let us remind you that the Galaxy S21 has a plastic bodyand a flat screen, which would seem to simplify the repair process. And indeed, opening the gadget is not difficult: the fasteners use identical screws, which require only one screwdriver. And it makes repairs much easier.
But problems arise with the displayand a battery. The battery is firmly glued, and the screen is very fragile and may break during “opening”. But these are the parts that break down most often in a smartphone.
Additionally, as iFixit notes, many components are modular and can be replaced independently, but the lack of a headphone jack means double the load and wear on the USB-C port.
As a result, the Samsung Galaxy S21 received only 4 points out of 10 for repairability.
