Pro Plus, Xiaomi 12X, OnePlus Nord 2. These devices still shoot differently. Discuss

The host of the Honest Blog channel on YouTube in one of the issues checked the quality of photos and videos of Realme 9 Pro Plus, Xiaomi 12X and OnePlus Nord 2 smartphones. The results were different.

The front camera doesn't do well in video recording.during the day at Xiaomi: the background is very overexposed. However, the face of the 12X is very good in terms of color reproduction: light, unlike Realme and OnePlus, on which it is grayish.

The main camera of all smartphones canrecord video in 4K 30 fps. In the evening, in this scenario, all devices perform very well, however, Xiaomi gives a rather dark picture compared to the rest. Detailing is best in Full HD 30 fps from Xiaomi, and this is noticeable, but it also has strong highlights. When shooting from the ultra-wide-angle camera at 1080p 30 fps, OnePlus is the worst in terms of stabilization. In terms of color reproduction at night when recording on the main camera, OnePlus and Realme are in the lead, while Xiaomi slightly distorts the colors.

During the day in 4K 30 fps, it becomes very noticeable that Realme's stabilization does not work very well.

In general, daytime video shooting in all casesthe quality is good. Xiaomi performed quite well in all scenarios, however, the picture turned out to be dark, the OnePlus Nord 2 has better stabilization compared to the previous version of this smartphone, but in Full HD at night it has, oddly enough, not so many details. compared to 4K.

As for the pictures, in the evening photos the color reproduction of all models varies greatly. At the same time, highlights are most noticeable on Xiaomi, and the detail is approximately the same in all cases.

It’s interesting that at times OnePlus replaces white with blue: example – photo of the cafe window. Also in this photo there are strong highlights only in the picture from Realme.

In portrait shots, HDR performs better thanthe rest of the models are worst on OnePlus Nord 2. At the same time, the sky is illuminated again on Xiaomi. As for the details, they are also the least on Xiaomi 12X.

Sunset photos are very close in quality in all cases. But Xiaomi and OnePlus do a little better on the details.

The daytime shots are also very similar. True, all smartphones process photos differently, so they come out with different undertones. The brightest and most saturated, for example, – These are pictures from Realme.

At 10x magnification, the Nord 2 and 9 Pro Plus are in the lead in detail, but Xiaomi is better at handling highlights.

Selfie photos turned out to be the most interesting on Realme, but on Xiaomi they turn out to be the most boring in terms of color reproduction. In terms of details, the pictures are also better with Realme.
