The tfp0 exploit provides access to the device’s kernel memory and is key to jailbreak development. If you remember, the jailbreak for iOS 11 was created thanks to the tfp0 exploit of Ian Beer.

This is good news for those who have installediOS versions 11.4 and 11.4.1, but once again we note that the exploit is valid only on devices with a headphone jack. This means that Apple devices with A10 and A11 processors are not supported.

A10 processor runs iPhone 7, iPhone 7Plus and iPad models 2018, and on A11 - iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. Devices with an A12 processor do not support iOS 11 at all, so there is no question of them.

If you already have iOS 12 installed, you are left withjust keep waiting. Although we have already heard some news related to iOS 12 exploits, no one is talking about jailbreak development for iOS 12 yet.
