Game development has been intensified sincehow EA lost exclusive access to the franchise. At the moment, there are 8 projects in development, but most of them do not even have a release date.

- Game by Amy Hennig and Skydance
- Shooter from Respawn
- Open world game from Ubisoft Massive
- Star Wars: Eclipse by Quantic Dream
- Remake of Knights of the Old Republic by Saber Interactive
- Star Wars Jedi: Survivor by Respawn
- Star Wars: Hunters by Zynga
- Strategy from Respawn
Henderson also noted that several more gamesdevelopment stages that we don't know about. One of these could be a game based on the series “The Mandalorian” (The Mandalorian), the journalist suggests that such a project may appear in the future. As for the eight announced projects, some of them will not be released soon. Some of these games will be released in at least 4 years.
One of those games stuck on stagedevelopment was Star Wars: Eclipse by Quantic Dream. It is believed that due to the problems that hung over the studio, the release of the game should be expected no earlier than in 2026.
