Touch bezel, ECG and two versions: details on Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 watches are disclosed

Samsung is actively preparing for the announcement of the Galaxy Watch Active 2 smartwatch, which is expected to take place on 7

August, along with the Galaxy Note 10 phablet. However, the SamMobile resource has already found out all the detailed characteristics of the new model.

What is known

So, the watch will have two versions: one with a 1.2-inch display (40 mm), a 247 mAh battery and a weight of 31 g, the second with a 1.4-inch display (44 mm) with a 340 mAh battery and weighing 36 g.

Both versions will have AMOLED displays with a resolution of 360x360 pixels and Gorilla Glass DX+ protection. Both are protected to the MIL-STD-810G standard.

The smartwatch will also receive an Exynos 9110 chip and 4 GB of internal memory. The version with LTE will have 1.5 GB of RAM, the version with only Bluetooth 5.0 will have 768 MB.

In addition, Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 will receiveECG sensor and will be able to record the owner’s fall in order to call an ambulance and automatically notify saved contacts about this. But there won’t be a rotating bezel here—it will be replaced with a touch-sensitive one.
