TP-Link Archer AX90: a tri-band router with support for Wi-Fi 6

TP-Link has expanded its line of network equipment with support for Wi-Fi 6 with the Archer AX90 router, network

Archer TX3000E card and RE505X signal amplifier.

TP-Link Archer AX90

This is a Wi-Fi router with 8 external antennas with support for Beamforming technology, which will help expand the coverage of the Wi-Fi network and make the connection more reliable and stable.

The router provides ultra-fast tri-bandconnection with speeds up to 6600 Mbit/s (1201 Mbit/s on the first 5 GHz band + 4804 Mbit/s on the second 5 GHz band + 574 Mbit/s on the 2.4 GHz band).

Also, TP-Link Archer AX90 has a 4-corea processor with a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz and a whole set of connectors: a 2.5-gigabit WAN/LAN port, a gigabit WAN/LAN port, three gigabit LAN ports, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 interfaces.

The manufacturer notes support for Wi-Fi technologies6 OFDMA and MU-MIMO for transmitting data to a large number of connected devices with minimal latency. Security is provided by WPA3, a technology that will protect your connection using encryption. You can also activate the TP-Link HomeCare Pro security package, which consists of antivirus, parental controls and other security options.

The router's suggested price is $299.99. It is expected to hit the market in April 2020.

TP-Link Archer TX3000E

This is a PCI-E adapter for connecting to a computer with support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 for connecting other devices, including headphones, keyboards and game controllers.

1024-QAM and 160 MHz bandwidthwill ensure continuous operation of the wireless network. Archer TX3000E also allows you to triple the connection speed compared to the Wi-Fi AC standard.

The adapter costs $49.99. It will go on sale this month.

TP-Link RE505X

This is a dual band Wi-Fi 6 signal extender,which can work as an access point, allowing you to create a new Wi-Fi network and add it to your existing wired network. With the help of a signal expander, you can remove “dead zones” in a large apartment or house.

There is support for TP-Link OneMesh technology, which will allow you to create an extensive wireless network using several Wi-Fi 6 TP-Link routers.

The TP-Link RE505X will hit store shelves in March with a price tag of $69.99.
