Traffic lights appear on Google Maps

Google developers noted that in some areas of the United States this function already existed in test form. But

Not everyone had access to it, and the signals were notdisplayed in navigation mode. Traffic lights and stop signs will now appear on all users' routes while navigating. This should give users an idea of how their ride will go and when they should turn. Google says navigation views will soon include many more map details, including building outlines and points of interest.

Although a normal map displays manydetails, in the navigation mode there were a minimum number of them. In cities with a high level of detail in Google Maps, you can also see the material of the road and its width.

“The new navigation map will begin rolling out to select countries in the coming weeks on Android, iOS, Android Auto and CarPlay. Features will appear in stages, ”noted Google.

The maps will also begin to show estimated prices fortravel on toll roads at the moment when the driver clears the way. The company says users will receive "reliable information from local traffic authorities" - and they will "consider factors such as the cost of tolls or other payment methods, the day of the week, and how much it will cost to travel at a particular time."

Prices will be displayed for nearly 2,000 roads in the US, India, Japan and Indonesia. Other countries will follow soon.
