TÜBİTAK has released an on-board computer for the Turkish fighter of the fifth generation TF-X

The Turkish company TÜBİTAK BİLGEM produced an on-board computer for a promising Turkish fighter and

handed it over to the customer.

What is known

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI)received an on-board computer that will be installed on the TF-X aircraft. The device will process encrypted data coming through different communication channels.

The on-board computer will be connected toradar station, which was developed by Aselsan. The device will be able to control the fire control system, the noise reduction system and the laser warning system.

The other day we wrote that TAI will release the firsta fifth-generation fighter in 2028, and from 2029 the company wants to produce two aircraft per month. The TF-X will be powered by two General Electric F110 engines. It produced almost 3,000 turbofan engines, which were used in the American F-14 Tomcat, F-15E Strike Eagle and F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters.
