Lithuanian Defense Minister Arvydas Anusauskas said that Türkiye will give Lithuania a drone for free

the Bayraktar TB2 aircraft, which will then be transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In three days, residents of Lithuania collected the required amount forpurchase of a Turkish attack UAV. The crowdfunding campaign was launched on May 25, and already on May 28, residents of the country transferred a total of more than €5,000,000 to the drone. In total, they managed to raise almost €6,000,000.

An agreement has been reached on the purchase of a combat drone from TurkeyLithuanian Ministry of Defense. However, you won't have to pay for Bayraktar TB2. The only cost is €1,500,000 for the purchase of ammunition. The funds will be transferred to the accounts of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense. The remaining €4,400,000 is planned to be used to help Ukraine.
