CD Projekt announced that

Cyberpunk 2077 release is postponed to September 172020. According to the developers, the project is already ready and playable, but the team still has some work to do. The Poles need more time to rid the game of bugs and better test the mechanics.

"We are at the stage where the gamecomplete and playable, but still has some work to do. Night City is a huge city full of stories, content and locations to visit. Because of this scale and complexity, we need more time to finish testing, fixing and polishing. We want Cyberpunk 2077 to be our best creation of this generation and delaying the release will give us the necessary time to make the game perfect,” the developers wrote.
