Twitter introduces monetization: paid subscription to user pages and 20% commission

The social network Twitter has launched content monetization for authors.

They will be able to not only publish content for free, but also receive money for it. A paid subscription will provide access to selected publications, which will be highlighted with a special icon.

There are some requirements for authors who want to enable monetization: age over 18, at least 500 subscribers and at least 25 published posts in the last 30 days.

Users set their own pricessubscribe to your page, but Twitter will take a portion of the income as a commission. It will be 3% until the amount of transfers for the subscription reaches 50 thousand dollars, above this amount - 20%. If the purchase of a subscription is made through an Apple device, add another commission of 30%, which Apple takes.

Monetization is available in more than 100 countries (Ukraine is not on this list).
