Twitter app has received an updated “Dark Mode” mode specifically for OLED displays

Twitter developers in 2016 added the “Dark Mode” mode to their application, and today they released for it

What is known

Twitter announced the feature "Lights out", whichchanges the application interface from dark blue to deep black, like in Facebook Messenger. This will save battery power especially on OLED-based smartphones. So far, a new feature is available for iOS devices. When it appears on Android is unknown.

How to turn on

Go to the application settings and select theresection "Display and sound". Turn on the "Dark Mode" and change the tick from "Dim" to "Lights out". In the settings you can also set the automatic change of the interface, depending on the sunset and sunrise.
