Twitter announced the "Lights out" feature, whichchanges the application interface from dark blue to deep black, like Facebook Messenger. This will save battery power, especially for smartphones with an OLED matrix. For now, the new feature is available for iOS devices. It is unknown when it will appear on Android.

How to turn on
Go to the application settings and select there"Display and sound" section. Turn on the “Dark Mode” mode and change the checkbox from “Dim” to “Lights out”. In the settings you can also set the interface to automatically change depending on sunset and sunrise.
