As it became known, two collided in the airhelicopter HH-60 Black Hawk. Initially, the details of the incident were not disclosed, but later the representative of the US Army, Lt. Col. Anthony Hoefler (Anthony Hoefler) reported nine dead.

The scene of the incident is located off Highway 68, inTrigg County in southwestern Kentucky. The helicopters belonged to the 101st Airborne Division, which is stationed at Fort Campbell. The accident occurred about 30 miles (48 km) from the base.
This is not the first accident involving the Black Hawk inrecent weeks. Last month, two Tennessee Air National Guard pilots died after a helicopter crashed while training in Alabama.
