Apple recently introduced the Beats Studio Buds TWS headphones. As it turned out, the new product did not receive the company’s proprietary chip.

According to Chinese analyst Ming-Chi Kuo(Ming-Chi Kuo) from Tianfeng International, the Beats Studio Buds are powered by a 22nm MediaTek SoC. According to the source, instead of the proprietary 16-nanometer H1 platform, Apple decided to use a chip from a Taiwanese manufacturer so that the headphones would work better with Android devices. In addition, this SoC is cheaper to produce and distinguishes the new product from more expensive AirPods models.
Let us remind you that Beats Studio Buds have a vacuumdesign, voice assistant calling function, active noise reduction (ANC) system, proximity sensors, IPX4 protection, as well as the ability to quickly pair with Android and iOS devices. In the US, the headphones cost $149.
