Ubisoft has added a temporary "Stadium" map to Rainbow Six Siege with a battle pass for the start of the Six Invitational

Ubisoft is preparing for the Six Invitational tournament for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege by launching a limited-time event with a new mode.

What is known

The “Stadium” map will be added to the game, which willavailable from January 15 to February 16, but only from Thursday to Sunday. There will often be obstacles made of transparent bulletproof materials on the map. According to Ubisoft, thanks to this, the developers were able to create situations where the player sees the opponent, but cannot attack him.

Matches at the Stadium will be held according to the rules“Charge” mode with the “Select/Prohibit” system. In addition, combatants will have access to all operators in Siege, and Blitz, Caveira, Hibana, Mozzie, Sledge and Thermite will receive a dedicated Road to S.I. equipment.

A battle pass will appear in the game during the event“Road to S.I. 2020" in free and premium versions. At 35 levels, players will be able to obtain 48 trophies each. The Premium Pass can be purchased for 1200 Credits, the Premium Pack (Premium Pass and the first 12 levels) for 2400 R6 Credits. To instantly unlock a new level you will need 180 R6 credits.

Ubisoft will allocate 30% of proceeds from pass sales to fund the Six Invitational prize pool. The studio will allocate a maximum of $3,000,000.
