NASA and the International Space Station shared footage of Storm Ian as it flew overhead.
Thousands of viewers watched as NASA broadcastscheduled to fly for nearly 15 minutes, sharing the video on their social media accounts. The video shows the camera slowly panning across the storm, capturing the unique view of Hurricane Ian as it approaches the state.
“The space station is flying over #HurricaneIan, providing live observations of the storm as it makes landfall near Fort Myers, Florida,” ISS officials wrote on social media.
